RBI and that stupid lady are now inviting opinions from merchants and bankers on changing money for UPI transactions.

Feku wants us to move to cashless economy because it's another avenue where he can pinch money from us. Because, you know, he sunk all the banks by writing off INR 5+ lakh crore worth of loans for his crony capitalist buddies.

Adani has acquired a 29.18% stake in NDTV, and is in talks to acquire another 26%, which would bring it to a total 55.18% stake i.e. controlling.

It's over.

Ravish Kumar has to move to proper independent media now or start his own. I doubt he could continue there for more than a few months (or may be a year at most) after this deal is finalized.

I feel so dead inside right now. Not even angry. Just dead.

 

So basically Ravish kumar and Maggi ji are employee of same guy now

Adding to the murkiness of this whole situation:
The founders and promoters of NDTV issued a statement stating that this acquisition of NDTV by a subsidiary of a subsidiary of Adani Media Group (yeah, that's right: a subsidiary of a subsidiary) was without their knowledge or consent. This begs the question of whether they will move SEBI to quash the acquisition as hostile and malicious, which would be legally untenable for Adani under normal circumstances. But given that SEBI's board consists of a chairman appointed by the union government, two members of the Union Finance Ministry, and has five ombudsman members all appointed by the Union Finance Ministry, thinks don't look good for NDTV. Nothing short of a Supreme Court battle to stay out of Adani's hands might save them. But that institution is also compromised.

Our only hope now is that Adani Group's shareholders and board members vote against the move due to the company being a tad overleveraged and their Balance Sheets already being stretched thin. But, given how ambitious these motherfuckers have become, there's no telling really.
