    Tbh, I don't get when people say "this is a meh episode". Ofc there won't be action or something exciting happening every episode, and that doesn't detract the quality of an episode.

    We got to see how Rem and Ram are, and Subaru building a relationship with them. We also got to see more communication between Subaru and Emilia, which is sweet every time. They click so well together.

    But it's an opinionated thing at the end of the day. There's much more to an episode to me than just action or some plot twist out of nowhere. Shit like visuals, voice acting, scenery, atmosphere etc. I take all those things into account when watching an anime episode.

    I haven't seen the latest yet, which is 5 isn't it? I meant it was a "meh episode" where not all that much happened in comparison to the other heavily action-packed ones. Of course there are necessary lax episodes in anime to further plot development and, as you said, introduce new characters and such.

    What you say here is true, and I do too.

    Finished 5 yesterday. It was pretty savage so far, lml. Tbh, last two episodes have given a SOL feeling, well, besides the end of 5. lmao.

    A lot of people have been upset by the fact that he's trying to save the maids, which I find absurd. I think the anime made it pretty obvious that the twins are actually good people and there is significantly more to them and obviously have a past that makes them so defensive and suspicious of people especially like Subaru who's been extremely suspicious in his own way. I also believe there is a third party involved as it was hinted in the most recent episode and from what I've seen, it doesn't look like anyone in the mansion is really a bad person.
