    My luck with winning sheep is evidently a curse I can't get rid off, even after coming in here xD

    Since I'm still new here, it's probably for the best I don't host one of my... alternative... sheep xD

    But yeah the role thing is completely different than what we're used too.
    I guess it's to encourage people to answer what majority of people would pick.
    That way there's the consequense of hosting the sheep, if they don't follow the herd of sheep.

    It's how the loser also gets a reward. If the loser hosts the next game, he will get the prize for hosting. However if the winner hosts, he will get a double prize (Winning a game and hosting the next game) which is not optimal. Hence why the loser hosts the next game.

    It can also be seen as a punishment for not following the sheep though.
