Synopsis​

The battle against the forces of evil is nearing its end as the Undead King Leonis Death Magnus remains the sole survivor of the Dark Lords. Standing no chance alone against his enemies, Leonis seals himself deep underground with the goal of reincarnating a thousand years later and rebuilding his demonic army.

Within the span of a millennium, however, everything has changed. People no longer remember the great war that led to Leonis' defeat and instead face a new threat—the monstrous creatures known as Voids. Magical devices have replaced sorcery, and humans with special powers—manifested in the form of weapons called Holy Swords—train at the Excalibur Academy to fight the Voids.

Reborn as a 10-year-old human boy, Leonis meets Riselia Ray Crystalia, a dutiful girl who stumbles upon the ruins of his hibernation chamber. Believing that Leonis has amnesia, Riselia offers him guidance and enrolls him at the Excalibur Academy. Leonis still intends to take over the world, but he must first familiarize himself with a reality completely different from all he knows.

Episode 1 was ok. So Leonis was a hero turned demon lord and was on the loosing foot in the war. So he gave up and chose to reincarnate 1000 years in the future.

Two girls Riselia and Regina were exploring where he was in stasis. Riselia was the one to break him out and he realised he was in a human body, specifically a younger boy's when he was going to attack her. A little shocked and annoyed at the revelation, he halted the thought of attack, and decided to get information from her. Her being gentle with him and hugging him probably helped.

They were attacked by an ogre class void, and Riselia fought it off for a bit before Regina arrived and covered their escape. While Leonis and Riselia were escaping, a wyvern class void appeared. Leonis was going to attack it, but Riselia thinking he's a weak boy, took an attack for him and it was fatal. Leonis quickly killed the voids in the area and revived Riselia.

After Riselia came too, and Regina appeared again, the group headed back to the last resistance, The Seventh Assault Garden.

 

Episode 2 was alright. We got a small flashback of Riselia and Regina. Regina was something like a servant to Riselia, although they were still very close and great friends. Riselia's family were fighting against an attacking force along with 1000 holy knights, and they all perished. This is what spurred Riselia into wanting to fight.

Leonis has now started integrating into the garden, with Riselia showing him around. During this, she was talked down on and assaulted by some generic douche, Muselle. Leonis intimidated him before Elfiné showed up and he ran away.

When they finally got back to their residency and as Leonis was bathing, Riselia came in to help him out. During this time, she again, had that on-going effect of being exhausted and seemingly going to faint. It looks like she did in fact die, and seems like Leonis brought her back either as a vampire or demon, as she sucked his blood to stabilize.

 

Episode 3 was alright. Started out with a glimpse of presumably the past, where Riselia was training in frustration over her lack of a holy sword. Muselle approached her, trying to convince her to his side, when Regina found them and chased him off.

Leonis is truthful to her about becoming one of his minions and being reborn as an undead due to her death. But she's one of the highest ranking undead, a vampire queen, which is why she went for his blood, needing it to recover her mana. She took it well, but just feared it might mean she wouldn't ever get a holy sword.

When being tested, Leonis didn't hold back enough and so took out multiple of the test robots lol. In return, Muselle challenged him to test him, to try and get back at him. It was Muselle and his four women against Leonis. Riselia stopped up though as "the guardian" to contribute. The test was weird, because Leonis didn't do shit lmao. Anyway, Riselia was restrained by Muselle before he went to "finish off" Leonis. This was the time when Riselia finally awakened her holy sword, and defeated him. With his defeat, he shouldn't pursue her anymore. I wonder if the girls around Muselle were just controlled too.

 

Episode 4 was ok. Got a little on Leonis' background when he was a hero. So he was betrayed and killed as he was viewed as a threat. then he was revived as a demon.

Things are slowly ramping up with that unknown entity underwater having killed some of the people investigating. Seems like an unknown type of void creature maybe. Another group is investigating it.

Leonis and Riselia visited an orphanage too, where she goes to cook for them.

 

Episode 5 was ok. We got another flashback of Leonis. Everyone was content with letting civilians to die to monsters because "they could be revived" but Leonis refused this.

There was some debate in the present time over what specifically is going on and what the thing underwater was. The consensus seems to be an intelligent void, that is actually able to evade them.

Looks like a "stampede" has been triggered, as a whole bunch of void have started to attack. The holy swordsmen all started to defend. Leonis gave the order to Shary to protect his underlings. Leonis took down the largest dragon-like Mega-colossal Void. Apparently the tree creature was Arakael Degradios, and it snatched Riselia.

 

Episode 6 was ok. The battle continued on all fronts. Leonis fed some mana infused blood to Riselia which gave her a power boost strong enough to break herself free. By claiming the city as his own and thus having subjects, he's able to use the demon sword, which he used to take out Arakael Degradios. With that, the battle iso ver.

 

Episode 7 was ok. A bunch of demi-humans were approached by a witch, Sharnak who's a dark elf. Her intent was to help them kidnap the princess and then offer up the other people as sacrifices to the goddess. She gifted some demonic swords to them, as demi-humans can't use holy swords. They were able to disguise themselves as part of the staff on the ship by killing the originals, then taking their form as a disguise.

All of the girls except Regina were present on the ship. Leonis got Shary a gift which she was very happy about, only for it to be churros which made her annoyed. Everyone was taken hostage including the princess. Regina received the princesses plea from her companion. Leonis has also gone to save the princess, during this he met with Regina.

 

Episode 8 was alright. Turns out Regina is the fourth princess. She was born when a red shining star was in the sky, named the Scarlet Calamity, which is an bad omen. Due to the birth when the star was visible, she was sentenced to death by the king. Duke Crystalia pleaded with the king to not kill her. The official story was she was buried in the forest. One of the duke's sons brought Regina back as his wife had just given birth to Riselia and so claimed they were sisters. Later on, Regina was raised to be a maid to Riselia to continue the cover story. This is why Regina has the spirit medium abilities like the other princess. Regina's role is to regain control of the ship using her abilities which allowed her to first communicate with the princess (her sister) to work this out.

The girls that were taken hostage all attacked at the same time, overwhelming the ones that held them hostage. As the boat was taken towards voids, they kept spawning in. So the girls fought off the voids while Leonis confronted Sharnak. When Leonis tried getting intel about the goddess from Sharnak, she was killed a demon lord slayer took her place. With the help of Regina controlling the ship's weapon systems, Leonis fought against this and the voids on the deck. Riselia also made an appearance and helped. On the inside, Shary took out a bunch of the Voids too, when they were in danger.

Leonis and Regina both didn't reveal themselves to the princess, or meet with her. Regina was content with having spoken to her.

 

Episode 9 was ok. Leonis found the rest of the demi humans and saved them from the humans by petrifying them. He announced himself as the demon lord, and they agreed to serve under him. In the middle of his speech, he was called by Riselia and got embarrassed.

Riselia saw Shary in Leonis' room and thinks she's a ghost. lol. They did a battle/tactical simulation of sorts against Fenris' team, and pulled a win.

Looks like another Void lord might confront them soon as it seems to be at the home island of Regina and Riselia, where they've headed to on a mission.

 

Episode 10 was alright. Looks like another hero was transported 1000 years into the future, to combat the goddess. She's an elf, Arle. She tried to fight Nefakess before that angel creature appeared. She escaped but was injured.

The angel thing spotted Leonis and Riselia and attacked them. It did injure Riselia slightly, but Leonis took it out. They stumbled across "ghosts" of some of the soldiers of Riselia's family. They are the one that signalled them to issue a warning about the same thing happening to the seventh assault garden. The void lord apparently merged with the power plant and will awaken, which is likely to trigger a stampede that attacks the seventh assault garden. Riselia and Leonus agreed to go to the mansion of her family.

Arle came across the other girls, and immediately started to fight them, thinking they were allies of Nefakess. Once the fight was over, she went with them realizing they weren't her enemy. They shared some info between each other.

Riselia has now been attacked by Nefakess. A confrontation with Leonis will happen now.

 

Episode 11 was ok. Looks like Riselia's father predicted that Leonis would return to help them. The three warriors of Rognas were summoned and protected Riselia. Leonis went on the offensive attacking Nefakess. The goddess (void lord) awoke, so Nefakess fled, indicating that it'd kill everyone.

The revived void lord is seemingly the remnants of one of the heroes, Saint Tearis Ressurrectia. Everyone went on the offensive against all of the void creatures as well as the void lord. Leonis also noticed that it seems to have Roselia's voice. In the past, Roselia requested he kill her if she ever came back as something that wasn't her. Leonis was struck down, but it seems like he's getting some power back from Riselia and will use that demon sword to defeat that void lord.

 

Episode 12 was ok. Leonis ended up being ok, and figured he was supposed to use his demon sword to take out the void lord. The spirits of the dead even helped along with Riselia too. the girls also decided to go to that location and help as well.

Arle was a massive help, wounding the void lord severely and making it drop its shield thing. This allowed Leonis to finish it off with his own attack. He was surprised to see Arle in that time. Leonis intends to rule every human empire.
