The Tavern: The Birth of an Adventure

"Muhahaha! Tiny Minions! I am Esca the giant." She says with glee "The weather is pretty mild right now but there is a storm coming latter today"

"I have never seen the bar from the height before.... Barkeep bring me Esca the giant an order of salmon please thank you!" she says in a demanding voice before switching to her normal one for the please thank you part.

 

"Careful now," he chastises, lowering her back to the ground. "You are now once more the same height. How does that make you feel?"

 

"nooo my power!" she says with a laugh. "That was pretty fun thanks shockwave"

 

"No problem." He grabs the bottom again and with a quick motion, launches her and the booth up into the air several feet before catching her again. "Would you like to try, Dessa?"

 

*Her eyes go wide in shock and she quickly shacks her head no.* I'm afraid of heights, so I will just stay here on the ground where it is nice and safe.

 

"After the initial shake of the lift you don't really notice you are off the ground I mean I didn't" she says with glee. "But I understand the fear"
"Uhm Shockwave can you do it again? But after I get this ready" she says standing up her height below theirs even while they sit. An illusory image of her appears sitting where she was she grabs out her pad. "Okay I want to be the subject of my own art!" she says "If you may please lift"

 

"As you wish," he replies, heaving the booth up into the air again. "There you go. Enjoy the air time."

 

I'll take your word for it Esca. *Dessa says while watching her two new friends.*

 

The real Esca on the ground does a quick sketch of what she sees it is a bit rougher than her drawings from before "I will fix this up a bit later I don't wish to burden you by having you hold it up the entire time"

"Using this spell for just this would be a waste sooo." She says as the illusion version of herself stands on its hands and walks across the seat.

 

"Watch this," Shockwave chuckles, lowering his hand and then launching the booth up into the air out of his reach. "How's that look from your angle?"

 

Watch this Esca. *Dessa says a few words under her breath, while running her right index finger in the air. A light stream of fire starts to swirl around the illusion of Esca. The fire is a light blue and won't burn anything down.*

 

"That is so pretty Dessa I love it", she says going through her satchel for her paints. "Seems I have to give this picture a bit more flare!" She begins to paint what she sees the back of Shockwave launching the booth up as her illusion handstand walks across it surrounded by light blue flames. Dessa is next to Shockwave holding her right hand up pointing

 

"Interesting power Dessa," he replies with a tilted grin as he catches the booth and lowers it back to the ground. "You would be surprised to see what else we can do."

 

Thanks glad you like it. Took me about a month to get the color right, seeing as blue is a safe flame were I'm from. *Dessa turns to Shockwave still waving her finger to keep the blue fire going for a while longer.*

 

Esca's salmon has arrived and she begins to diligently eat it. "After we are done here... do either of you have any plans?" she asks them sitting next to her illusion which she has mimicking her eating.
