The town of Aynderil

"Roger, boss." He replies, carrying the bowls of fruit over to the table and setting it down there and returning to the refrigerator to pick up the requested items, carrying them back and placing them on the table as well. "There we go."

He lowered himself into one of the empty seats at the table. "Is everything ready?"

 

"Yes, go ahead and start fixing your plate." Dessa places some eggs, bacon, a pancake, and some fruit on her plate. She pours some syrup on her pancake, then she picks up her fork ready to dig into breakfast.

 

"Do you have peanut butter?" Shockwave asks as he places a couple of pancakes, fruit and two slices of bacon on his own plate. "I've always heard that it tastes even better when you add peanut butter to the fresh off the skillet pancakes so that it melts."

He quickly amended his statement. "It's okay if you don't have any though."

 

Esca takes a bit of fruit and pancake onto her plate then sits at the table she appears like a child in her seat its top reaching above her head. "Thank you for breakfast." She says as she uses her fork to tear a way a bit of the pancake putting a piece of apple on top of it.
"These past twenty four hours have been different to say the least. I came to town to get away for a bit went to the bar maybe drink a bit and eat some food draw and play around. But I end up here having met a man named Schockwave from another planet called Cybertron and a lovely woman named Dessa who has been welcoming to us in her home... Somedays are just more jammed pack with action than others" She says to them just about done with her plate. After she finishes she looks and sees that they aren't quite done yet so she cleans off her dishes and sits with them until they finish their meals.

 

"Yes, I have peanut butter Shockwave. Please help yourself to anything in the fridge." Dessa replies around a mouth full of pancake. "Normally I wouldn't invite strangers into my cottage, but there is just something about the two of you. Not sure what it is, but something told me I could trust the both of you." She shrugs her shoulders, and continues to eat the rest of her breakfast.

 

"You refrigerate peanut butter?" Shockwave asks with a raised eyebrow, walking over and pulling the discussed item from the fridge and returning to the table with it in hand, dipping a knife and beginning to ladle some on to his pancakes. "Much better."

He tilted his head in his curious way. "What do you think that is?"

 

"I like peanut better to be cold." Dessa chuckles at Shockwave. She wipes her mouth, then brings her dirty plate to the sink to wash. "Not sure really. It was like this jolt inside my soul, telling me to trust the two of you. I guess sooner or later we'll figure it out." Dessa washes her dishes, the goes back to the table.

 

"I think we all had a strange feeling about each other when we saw one another. We may not have known at first but something pushed us to engage with one another." Esca says to her.
"I am going to head off to get them. Before I go if you want I can see if we can go there instead Dessa if you prefer that. I kind of sleepily said I'd bring them here at 5:14 in the morning." Esca tells her rubbing the side of her head.
"If we do go there I just need to set up a teleportation circle somewhere outside so I can take multiple people."

 

"Probably so Esca, and I think going there would be better actually." Dessa says to Esca. "I just don't really feel all that comfortable with a lot of strangers here. The teleportation circle can be done in the field out back. That way no animals get in by mistake."

 

"I would fully agree with that thought process." Shockwave replied, nodding and rubbing his chin as he finished the last few bites of his breakfast before carrying it over and lowering it into the sink. "What do you think would be the reason we were all brought together?"

Shockwave listened in silence as the two discussed where best to bring in Esca's friend. I'm not really sure where would be good. I feel that wherever Dessa feels most comfortable with, since we are her guests."

 

"Alright. I will contact them and let them know the plan.. I will seem like I am talking to myself I am not" Esca says as she cast the sending spell.
"Abie it is me Esca I know what i said earlier but they rather go there if that is okay" She says to her old professor.
"Yes of course, Teleport them to the Western Hall's entrance in soon. I will meet you there I just need to walk over to there." They say to her as she hears a bit of rustling on their end as they embark off.

"Okay they've agreed to meet us there, we are going to be in the Western building of the Academy, we are going to be entering through a designated teleportation entrance. Abie said they will meet us there so from there we will be in their care. I know I can trust you two but please do not disrupt the students and professors you will see walking around the campus."

 

"That sounds fine with me Ecsa. Will they mind if I go in armed with weapons though?" Dessa asks while walking over to a locked cabinet. She uses a gold colored key to unlock it. Inside are different types of weapons. From guns, crossbows, swords, and daggers are a number of weapons inside.

 

"Why do you need weapons, Dessa?" Shockwave asked, walking over to watch as she revealed her weapon's cabinet. "Are you expecting them to have ill intentions when they arrive?"

He curled his fingers around a piece of nearby furniture, increasing his grip strength until his fingers began to leave indentations behind in the wooden surface. "Do you think I should prepare to greet them then?"

 

"If you want to to carry some protection on your hands that is fine. But please be reasonable with what you carry, we are just going to a very fancy school. Shockwave you will geet them but friendly of course, I am going to be asking Abie about an artificer's unique ability to insert their magic soul or mana into an object. I know they can do so to an object like a doll but I am wondering if it would be possible to bring magic from without of you to within you. If that is possible we might be able to use a mana stone to artificially give you magic." She says to them letting them get ready before they go.

 

"I just don't want to be caught off guard like we were with the bandits. Will just bring two daggers with me, and they will be hiding in my boots." Dessa grabs two daggers from the weapons cabinet. They were in specially made sheaths that fit in boots. She quickly fixed the daggers in the right spots in each boot, then closed the cabinet and locked it again. "Okay I'm ready to go now."
