Episode 1 was alright. Alto was on the verge of failing and being kept back due to his ability to summon. He stumbled upon a book in the library and successfully summoned as seductive demon, Vermeil. Apparently Alto's mana is too potent which is why he couldn't summon anything, but it is perfect for Vermeil. Lilia, Alto's childhood friend and clearly the person who has a crush on him didn't take well to Vermeil and they got into a battle. Naturally she lost and Alto's request was for them to be friends.
Episode 2 was good. A dragon appeared and Vermeil took it out by flicking it. Vermeil and Alto were confronted by the dragon rider and another one who challenged them. Vermeil returned Alto's mana but amplified it and gave him a massive power boost taking out the dragon. After that, Alto, Lilia and another had a trial for the chance to become the student representative for the class. The trial was getting a fairy flower which was guarded by a Cerberus. Vermeil got a little freaky with Alto to give him mana while Lilia took an invisibility potion and stripped down get around Cerberus. Only two of the heads were sick so she was found but saved by Alto. This allowed Lilia to get the fairy flower, but she gave it up to Alto.
Episode 3 was good. Started out with Vermeil trying crepes and she loved it. We get an appearance from the student council and it looks like they're all dragon riders which is interesting. One of the council members, Chris debuts beating up Rex. She seems like a bit of a hard ass, but I like her design. Vermeil and Alto ended up confronting Chris due to the challenge. Chris is very powerful, but the duo are holding their ground. Chris' familiar dragon is cool too.
Episode 4 was decent. It started out with the conclusion of the battle. Vermeil and Alto won, although it seems like Chris held back. They're convinced she would've won if she went all out. Chris also made up with Rex. The professor Obsidian seems like a snake. He's popular with the female students due to his looks and charisma, but then uses them seemingly for experiments. There are 4 cases in that year of girls being put into a coma and Emma is the latest one. It's caused by Obsidian seemingly injecting them with something after seducing them. It ended with Rex seemingly going awol and attacking Chris.
Episode 5 was good. We got to see some past Rex and Chris interacting, and it was pretty nice to see. Chris was much more chill back then when they were younger. Rex really attacked Chris pretty brutally, although she was alright. Seems like the professor caused that change too, I guess it's demonic in nature the power boost. The student council president Elena also has the same shitty behaviour Chris displayed, berating her. Vermeil is acting a bit strange and had a run in with the professor. Sounds like he's involved with a low tier demon. She really let her guard down and he injected her, now it seems like she's gone awol.
Episode 6 was good. Vermeil went full demon mode. Alto did something extremely retarded and blocked the killing hit on the teacher taking it himself, killing him. Completely pierce through the chest/heart. He was able to bring Vermeil back and Vermeil revived him. Obsidian injected himself and turned himself into a demon and Vermeil just one shot him lol. He was taken away and the accomplice escaped. Vermeil revived Alto by giving him her heart and she feeds him her demonic mana so it functions. She was trying to distance herself and seemingly die so he could live, which Alto set it straight that isn't ok. Now they're linked when one dies the other does too.
Episode 7 was good. Started out with the kids being mad at Alto as Vermeil hasn't come to class in a while due to her wanting some space. Lilia confronted Vermeil and she doesn't care Vermeil is a demon. They were able to hash things out and Vermeil came around, this allowed Alto and Vermeil to also work things out. The only outfit Vermeil has to wear is a school one and it's way too small. The kids love it. We also have a glimpse of some shadowy group that had some involvement with Obsidian. Alto and Vermeil were also confronted by the student council, firstly about Obsidian and then about "Secrets". Vermeil's demon status is now out there. They were offered to join the student council.
Episode 8 was good. Alto really had no choice lol, but he joined the student council. Also, Vermeil has issued a warning to Alto about the president, Elena as it's "like she isn't human" I have to wonder if she's a demon then or just stupid powerful. Alto went to attend his first student council meeting in the rain and happened upon the girls changing lol. It's theorised their enemies are Platinum Squares. These are generally the highest tier magic users that have been able to create their own magic, from what is stated. We also had another look at the enemies, one who is like a kid apparently killed the most skilled caster of holy magic amongst the platinum squares. It also seems like they serve a demon that is like a giant brain squid thing. In a dream, Alto also met some spirit lady, how strange. The students are also off for exam tests to advance.
Episode 9 was alright. The first test is filling a sphere with mana to gauge how much they can input to pass. The trick is there are certain spots which are harder/easier to channel the mana to pass. Started out with a few fails, but then had a few passes. As usual, Alto went ham and broke it. Iolite one of the antagonists has killed someone, assumed their identity and infiltrated the tests. The written one is up now.
Episode 10 was alright. The second test kicked off then was interrupted as the body was found. With that, Iolite went on the attack. He's basically the greatest/youngest prodigy. Vermeil and Alto have given him a fairly good run, until Vermeil was just chained/restricted and Alto was pretty easily taken out. It's a bit of a joke how much of a joke Vermeil is randomly. Anyway, the lady in the book/spirit came out and Alto is now in Vermeils mind to help her.
Episode 11 was good. We got to see Vermeil's backstory. She was an orphan as a little girl, living with three other kids and a nun. The nun was really sweat taking care of her and the other kids. Even though they were poor, they lived happily. That changed when it was discovered that Vermeil was a demon. Not her family, they still loved her, but the villagers went the full retard mob mode. Eventually, Vermeil fled for safety, then returned before actually fully fleeing and found her family had been hung. Due to this, she destroyed the village.
Episode 12 was ok, pretty meh. The flashback finished and Vermeil and Alto embraced in understanding and Alto wants to be with Vermeil forever and the same obviously applies to her too. The battle continued and they really weren't any better off than before. Basically just a stalemate. It was interrupted by Heliodor putting an end to it. Vermeil and Alto were teleported back to the school and everything is fine. Alto was also roughed up be the council a little lol. Things wrapped up with a bunch of sappy stuff between Vermeil and Alto.
