So we have a cliche fantasy world with a male character...What's his power? Suiciding himself to redo it again ok fits the anime name...and that's about it,everything he does is killing himself...so 24 eps I'm 3 in and I'm like WTF did I watch the same ep 3 times? Oh...what a joke,you got me there anime I'll give you that one ha ha(let's hope that doesn't happen again) 10 eps in....wow I watched like 5 eps of content without repeating same things...

I'm really not sure what I expected, to be honest. I mean, I was asking for some actual criticism and talking points but you just blew me out of the water with the absolute nonsense. I hope you never read a VN.

 

I told you why I'm aware that MC does something in VN but...I don't read them so my opinion is based on anime.

I honestly don't know what to say to your response. It's like you didn't even pay attention to the anime. You were waiting for his power to kick in after it had already been used multiple times? His power was liking Emilia? That literally makes no sense. You didn't even get his power correct. I don't think I can take your opinion seriously when it's clear you completely failed to even comprehend basic aspects of the anime.

Considering that a lot of the people who hate on Re:Zero never fully explain why they don't like it, it shouldn't be a surprise. In the end, people mainly hate on it, because its popular and gets more praise than their faves, so they attack it with critism that it really doesn't deserve. Some people honestly treat it like the worst anime out there, which is absurd even if you honestly dislike it.

The general consensus is that its amazing, hence the high ratings and awards that it won. Most of the people who dislike it are in the vocal minority honestly.
